PROGRAM VISION

To develop Electrical & Electronics Engineering professionals competent to face the global challenges in a Edifying environment conducive to learn technical knowledge, skills blended with ethics and values, to Coordinate and serve to the society for betterment and comfortable living.

PROGRAM MISSION

To provide a competitive learning environment, through a need based curriculum designed in collaboration with industry, conducive for high quality education emphasising on transfer of knowledge and skill development essential for the profession and the society as well.

To nurture higher order leadership qualities and ethics and values in students to enable them to be leaders in their chosen professions while maintaining the highest level of ethics.

To encourage the spirit of inquisition to promote innovation and entrepreneurship strengthened with life skills to sustain the stress.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

On completion of the Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering programme, the students should have acquired the following characteristics:

PEO1: Apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering, and Management principles to identify, analyze, and solve problems in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
PEO2: Develop a spirit of inquiry and lifelong learning to continuously acquire new knowledge, adapt to emerging technologies, and enhance professional competence.
PEO3: Strengthen entrepreneurial abilities, communication skills, teamwork, and leadership qualities to contribute effectively to organizations, society, and national development.
PEO4: Uphold professional ethics, quality standards, safety practices, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility in all engineering and professional activities.

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO1: Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply the fundamental concepts of Electrical & Electronics Engineering in areas such as Wiring Installations, Lighting Systems, Static and Rotating Machines, Power Systems, Digital Electronics, Power Control Devices, Computer Programming, Managerial Practices, and Smart Technologies.
PSO2: Develop skills to install, operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various Electrical & Electronics equipment using modern tools and techniques, and design cost-effective software and hardware solutions for customized engineering applications.
PSO3: Exhibit social and environmental awareness, professional ethics, and entrepreneurial skills to build a successful career and contribute to sustainable development through innovative Electrical & Electronics Engineering solutions.
